I’m really thankful for gravity and look forward to using it! I’m going through the tutorial for mattermost and doing the installation on a 5GB RAM/15GB disk Ubuntu VM on a Mac Host.
./gravity install step falls with the following error:
[ERROR]: Job has reached the specified backoff limit, gravitational.io/site:6.1.13 install hook failed, failed to execute phase "/runtime" (Job has reached the specified backoff limit)
I ran a preflight check and this is the error I got:
multipass@on-prem-host:~/gravity$ sudo ./run_preflight_checks Wed Dec 4 20:56:26 UTC No deployed cluster detected, running install preflight checks Wed Dec 4 20:56:26 UTC Running checks against node profile "node" [ERROR]: The following checks failed, provide --autofix flag to let gravity to autofix them: [×] kernel module "overlay" not loaded [×] kernel module "ebtables" not loaded [×] kernel module "ebtable_filter" not loaded [×] kernel module "iptable_filter" not loaded [×] kernel module "iptable_nat" not loaded [×] kernel module "br_netfilter" not loaded [×] kernel module "overlay" not loaded [×] ipv4 forwarding is off, see https://www.gravitational.com/docs/faq/#ipv4-forwarding [×] open /proc/sys/net/bridge/bridge-nf-call-iptables: no such file or directory (br_netfilter module is either not loaded, or sysctl net.bridge.bridge-nf-call-iptables is not set, see https://www.gravitational.com/docs/faq/#bridge-driver)
Here is the link to the excellent tgz crash report.
I’d appreciate any help you can provide :). Thank you.
